Class and Fun at the Asheboro Zoo~June 15, 2010

Off to the zoo we went one morning at 7:30 am with our friends, Sharon and Sophie.  I signed us up for a class targeted towards 2 year olds.  It was going to be extremely hot, but we braved it anyway.

When we got to the "Kid Zone" area, it wasn't time for class, so we ventured over to the area where there were paint brushes, water, and chalk.  The kids loved this area!  We let everyone get wet because we knew they would dry off quickly with the heat!

This chalkboard wall was HUGE!  What a brilliant idea to keep kids busy, cool, and happy!

Here is everyone in "class."  My 3 didn't fair so well with the sitting and listening.  They were off in their own world...falling in dirt, picking up sticks, walking around, etc.  Sophie did great, however.  She is used to preschool and structure.

Here is everyone playing "peek a boo" in the bushes with the teacher.  They loved this part!  If you look at Austin, he is as happy as a clam.

The whole gang looking at the polar bear.  They loved the animals.  Aiden kept kissing the glass towards all the animals.

On the playground at the zoo....there's so much to do.  We love going there, and that's why we have a membership.

Looking at the sea lions!  Aiden and Sophie really want to touch him/her!  Austin is just interested in eating!
